Fantasy
After many years of photographing real subject matter, painting allows Cy to fantasize – to create his own world. He has always been fascinated by magic and illusion, and his paintings reflect that interest; one is even titled The Magician. In painting he lets his imagination roam as it does in dreams, producing works with symbolic even mythical elements. He calls it “art of the absurd.”
